When defining management system changes, management needs to spend time observing and evaluating indicators upstream to understand how behaviors are changing and how they affect the management system. Management needs to understand that behaviors are visible evidence of norms that are part of employee work practices. One of the best techniques that the I can encourage is to listen to what employees have to say. Sometimes employees just want to talk to someone about work or personal issues, etc. In these cases, you should sharpen your listening skills. This is one of the most important key concepts to understand. The key as I see it is, sometime we as a society listen to employees, but do we really hear from they are saying.
