Why Tweeting Has Become Organic’s Main Job-Posting Strategy – Advertising Age

April 02, 2009 By: webmaster Category: job resources, twitter

While working with twitter today, I came across this article that I though was very good.  This article was written by Tracy Cote and Traci Armstrong and Published: March 31, 2009

Plus Six Tips for Using Twitter as a Recruiting Tool

What you see below is a section clipped from the middle of the article, as it does apply to any job seeker.   Job seekers today have an advantage in using email and the internet to send out resumesm but there is a drawback as was presented yesterday in an online seminar on "Avoiding the 10 Biggest Job Search Mistakes".     You will have to click on the link below in order to read the entire story.

Helping them find us
Twitter also helps talent find Organic. Using Twitter’s latest job-search app, candidates can find Organic jobs easily. Twitter’s searchability has made us think more about our own "findability" and altered the way we post jobs. We’ve created a new formatting protocol to increase our chances of being found. Today, our postings must be headlines, 140 characters or less. Key words in our postings get hash marks (#). Each posting includes a trackable URL that enables us to monitor click-throughs and directs candidates to apply through our Applicant Tracking System. That way, candidates who aren’t right for the role they’re applying for will be entered in our database for future opportunities.

Free Guides on Accident Claim FACTS ON WORKER’S COMPENSATION COVERAGE

April 02, 2009 By: webmaster Category: guidelines, workers' compensation

Most people work not because they like the job but because of the compensation that goes with the job. The amount of compensation is also covered by state laws. Individual states have its own worker’s compensation laws that handle various claims from employees who are either harass or injured in their jobs. The law calls for a strict liability in terms of the fault as well as the negligence committed by the employers to be established before a claim for benefits can be brought out in court. Likewise, the law also stipulates that the injury or illness has to be acquired during the time of employment, such is required in order for the worker’s compensation system to give benefits to the injured worker. And since there is a stipulation on the worker’s compensation law that provides strict liability on employers fault and negligence then there would be a legal remedy for the sustained injuries or illness of any employee in time of his or her employment.
